FAQ
How much is a session?
Therapy is an investment in yourself. In our free consultation call, we’ll discuss what fee fits your financial situation.
Do you take insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, but I can provide a superbill (a monthly statement) for clients who are able to use insurance to reduce the cost of therapy.
When are you available? How frequent are sessions?
I offer sessions Monday-Thursday between 10am and 6pm to clients who live in California. Sessions are weekly and run 50 minutes by video or phone.
How do I prepare for a remote therapy session?
To prepare for a telehealth session, find a quiet, private room where you won’t be disturbed. Make sure your internet connection is stable and check that your device’s camera and microphone are functioning properly. Use headphones for better audio privacy and clarity. Log into Spruce before your session starts and I will call you at the time of our appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Clients are not charged for up to four weeks of missed sessions per calendar year due to vacation. Missed sessions for other reasons (such as illness or work conflicts) should be rescheduled within 1–2 weeks; if rescheduling isn’t possible, they’ll count toward the four vacation weeks or be billed at the regular rate.
What brings people to depth couples work
You care about each other, and the distance still widens. The same loop repeats — one reaches, one retreats; small things swell into disconnection. Major life shifts — career, family, loss, — have exposed fault lines that won’t mend on their own. You want to understand what’s happening underneath, and how to find your way back.
What we do here
We slow the cycle in real time — mapping how each partner moves toward or away when safety feels threatened. We track the patterns beneath the words. Together, we practice the essentials: clear asks, receptive listening, and repair that actually lands.
Who this is for
Couples who want depth over blame. Partners ready to stay present, own their side, and do the consistent work of reweaving trust and connection.

What brings people to depth work
You keep producing, achieving, trying to look composed — but inside, there’s a quiet depletion. Anxiety hums beneath the surface, or life feels flat, uninspired. You’ve outgrown the coping tools that keep you functional but unfulfilled. What you want now is something more — a sense of meaning, vitality, and inner freedom.
What we do here
We slow the pace enough to hear what the symptoms have been trying to say. We notice where drive becomes pressure, where stillness begins to feel unsafe. We explore the stories, patterns, and early adaptations that once protected you but now confine you — not to judge them, but to understand them.
Who this is for
High-functioning, sensitive adults who are done performing calm while carrying too much. Those who sense that real growth requires depth, not speed — and who are ready to meet themselves beneath the surface.
